Vishnu S Warrier is an Indian legal professional, legal educator, journal editor, scholar, academician, RTI Activist and political thinker. He is a prolific writer in the field of contemporary socio-legal issues. Besides, his involvement in social activities, he is also an active sports personal.
Mr. Warrier is the Founder of Lex-Warrier Foundation, a not-for-profit Organisation from India with diversified interests in Economic and Social Development, Gender Issues, Advancement of Women, Legal Aid, Research & Publication and Sustainable Development.
Mr. Warrier earned a Master of Law with merit from National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal and Certificates in Patent Law; Trademarks, Industrial Designs & Geographical Indications; Arbitration & Mediation Procedure under the WIPO Rules from the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) Academy, Geneva, Switzerland.
He earned a Bachelor of Academic Laws and Bachelor of Law from the University of Mysore with merit. He also qualified UGC-NET (University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test) and he is eligible for Lectureship in any of the Universities in India.
He has authored books titled Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation | Understanding Patent Law | Quick Reference Guide on Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation. He is also the founder of The Lex-Warrier: Online Law Journal.
Mr. Warrier is a prolific speaker and speaks on various topics viz. Civic Engagement, Education, Development, Intellectual Property Rights, Law, Politics, Public Policy, Start-ups, Right to Information, Traditional Knowledge, Women Empowerment and Youth Empowerment.
He represented his college & University in Chess, Cricket and Table Tennis in various competitions. Mr. Warrier is also an active social & environmental activist.
